PVG Regulation Updates 2025

In the Summer months we have productions that often move up to Scotland from England and we often have children involved.

When this happens your production will have to recurit chaperones to safeguard these children and your production.

When doing this now you will have to make sure all chaperones are part The Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme. If you have a DBS this is not enough all chaperones either based in England or Scotland will be legally required to have a PVG membership while working in Scotland.

You can’t just expect all agencies and chaperones in England to have this as this law is new not everyone outside Scotland will understand these laws and requirements.

If you have any productions filming with Scottish children across the UK drop me a message.

If you require one-one chaperoning I specialise in this and I also have a team of freelance, experienced PVG membership chaperones I can set you up with to meet your young casts needs and your productions if you require multiple chaperones.
