Getting It Right For Every Child

I got gifted this little guy from a child I looked after on my most recent job.

The job itself was great everyone worked so hard from pre production to filming to help the children feel comfortable, safe and secure on set.

The whole team different departments producers, production, assistant directors, make up, costume, sound, intimacy co-ordinator , director and stunt co-ordinator were excellent with the children providing a great work/learning environment for the children on set.

The communication and atmosphere we create on a set really make a difference to the young actors physical and mental wellbeing

When we work together to create a secure environment the children can focus on the performances they give as they are relaxed and secure in their surroundings.

They are also happy, how do we know this?a lot of my job is observing very similar to my role in education but thankfully I don’t have to write a report on them but here are some of the key observations to look out for
: Open body language
:Commuincating (comfortable to ask for help or ask questions)
:Laughter and smiling
: Enjoying downtime on set playing
: Talking to you telling you about themselves without you asking
: Being confident
