Mental Health Awareness Week

mentalhealthawarenessweek this years theme what practical steps can we take to protect/improve our mental health.

Better sleep, routine, selfcare, being active and engaging with people these are all useful but it’s important to remember we are unique and try to find something that brings comfort and happiness to you.

Working with young adults I often find talking, sharing and listening can help to take the next steps

It makes people feel not alone and often we can work together to support them or give suggestions to help with their mental health. Having my own struggles in the past I am aware of signs when people are struggling masking or feeling overwhelmed and wish when I was younger I had more understanding of mental health.

With young adults I just want them to be happy and enjoying life my door is also open at work to try to support them in best way I can.
