The Demon Headmaster
throwbackthursday The Demon Headmaster A great production with great crew and cast.
This had lots of teenagers some on licence and some not so a Duty of Care Role in there.
High energy and lots of laughs. The young cast were awesome a mixture of new and experienced young actors with lots of dialogue and long days.
A real pleasure to be involved with and watch them for a summer. It’s hard to describe how much of privilege it is to work with this age range.
Getting to see them thrive and be challenged on a production, often they are heavily involved with filming and you see them grow in confidence as the weeks go by.
I get to spend a lot of time with them often travelling to and from set with them and then all day if off licence this means longer hours and no tutoring. I am there to support them and help them be ready and thrive on set just like if I was in a school with them.
It’s important who ever you get to work in this role has a vast experience of being around this age range and that they can meet the needs of the child they have to have a positive relationship, build trust and be able to communicate clearly with the young actor and the production team.
